Trop: I had the biggest crush on Annabella Sciorra after seeing this movie.

Court: My Dad has a huge crush on her.

Trop: He does?

Court: He loved her and Rebecca De Mornay in The Hand That Rocks The Cradle.

Trop: Yes.

Court: It's really disconcerting... that you and my dad have crushes on the same women.

Trop: [chuckling]

Court: I guess it's true; we do marry our fathers.

I don't know how I missed this one

Movies I always watch

Great soundtrack.
Great story.
Great cast.
Great acting.
and it has Zooey Deschanel and Frances McDormand.

I've been double-dog-dared

I made the mistake of telling Court how embarrassed I'd be if a certain friend found out that I like the movie Enchanted.

Court then promptly double-dog-dared me to out myself. By her count, I've watched this movie at least a dozen times.

There goes my "toughie" image.

Movies I always watch

I've considered blogging about this from time to time.

There are movies that I enjoy so much, that no matter how many times I see them, I can always see them again.

The Shawshank Redemption is one such film. It was on HDNET last week.

It's a great story, quite true to Stephen King's novella. Morgan Freeman's narrative throughout is brilliant. The ensemble cast and crew are brilliant. Thomas Newman gave it one of his best soundtracks. I could go on and on.
